The Brien McMahon NJROTC Parents Group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 7PM in the NJROTC room.  At the Parents meetings, the Naval Science Instructors, LtCol. Bob Killackey and Chief Dave Pascoe discuss the upcoming unit events for the month.  Parent support is essential to the success of the extracurricular activities the unit offers to the cadets.  The Parents Group works to support the unit through the coordination of events and fundraising, with our biggest annual fundraiser, Captains of Comedy (www.captainsofcomedy.com).

The profits from Captains of Comedy and other fundraising go towards:

    1. Buses
    2. Sweat set for Drill team
    3. Cadets families are struggling
      1. The Parents Group can subsidies some of their fees to participate
        1. Drill meets
        2. First year cadets trip to the Groton Submarine base
        3. Second to third year cadets overnight trip to Battleship Cove, Fall River MA and Whale Watching in Boston
        4. Military Ball

The events and experiences help our cadets in many ways
